This week we have Guest Author, Jackie Edwards. If you’ve just had a baby, most people think that all you feel is overwhelming joy over the new addition to your family. Stuck in Life
Does it seem like you’re going round in circles doing the same things over and over again, repeating patterns of behaviour and making the same mistakes, especially when they don’t end well or you’re not happy. Your brain loves habit, to the primitive part of the brain which we share with animals, habit is good it feels safe, it’s the unknown that is scary, so when you lapse or default to the primitive brain it will resort to anything it knows well. Habit is good for children and animals, but when adults are operating from this part of the brain life starts going around in circles instead of moving forwards. You can get unstuck and move forwards again.

There are strategies you can use that will help the depressed person without getting into conflict, becoming frustrated or being pushed away. Listen to the video for some tips of what you can do.
How To Help Someone With Anxiety

How to Help Someone
When you have a loved one, friend or family suffering from anxiety and/or depression or some other emotional or mental disorder it is natural to want to help them. There are things you can to do help someone, but it might not be what you think it is. Make sure you are not doing these things if you do want to help.
Subconscious conflicts
Does what you think you want to happen never seem to happen and you end up sabotaging your own thoughts and not doing the things you need to do to achieve desired results or changes? It could be that your subconscious mind is not aligned with your conscious mind.
You are how you think
You are how you think and how you think will determine how your life pans out. Becoming aware of your thoughts instead of getting involved with them is vital in understanding how you are programming yourself and your life. You are in control of your life, but you may no be aware of the direction you are giving it.
Why you need to focus on what you DO want
Your mind listens to you, when you are thinking you are giving your subconscious mind instructions of what to notice or focus on, in other words, what to ‘filter in’ to your world, so if you focus on what you DONT want, for example, bills, sickness, anxiety you are going to attract more of that into your life. Understand what effect focusing on the wrong things has on your life.
