If you are close with someone who has anxiety you know how frustrating it can be to persistently tell someone that their fears are unfounded and irrational. That person wont hear you, they already know that, but they can’t help it, they are using their imagination to negatively forecast the future.

However, there are strategies you can use that will encourage the person suffering from anxiety to think in a different way.
