50 minute Initial Consultations are provided free of charge in the daytime for most conditions (see below) so you can come along, meet with the hypnotherapist and tell us about what you would like help with and in turn we can explain exactly how hypnotherapy helps and what’s involved. It is an excellent way of discovering whether hypnotherapy is the best course of action for you without any obligation or commitment to continue.
We can also provide initial consultations in the evening (5pm onwards) but there is a £30 charge for all evening appointments.
Free Initial Consultation
Initial Consultations are free during the daytime for the majority of conditions we help with, including
Anxiety and Depression and related symptoms such as OCD, IBS, Insomnia, Headaches, Migraine, Pain, fertility etc.
To put it simply, if it is not on the list opposite, the initial consultation is free between 8.30am and 5pm.
All evening Initial consultations between 5pm at 8pm have a £30 fee.
Half Price Initial Consultations
For certain conditions we provide a half price initial consultation which is charged at £30, the conditions which are subject to the fee are:
Anger, Addictions, Alcohol, Gambling
For the following, no initial consultation is needed;
Hypnobirthing, Smoking cessation
Following the initial consultation you will have all the information and knowledge you need to decide if hypnotherapy is going to be suitable for you and whether you would like to go ahead with sessions, but there is absolutely no obligation to do so. If you do, the costs are as follows
Daytime 50 minute session costs £60 (10am to 5pm) and includes therapy CDs.
Evening 50 minute sessions (5pm onwards) cost £65 per session and includes therapy CDs.
The number of sessions required depends in individual needs and circumstances and will be discussed at the initial consultation.
Smoking Cessation is a 1 off session of up to 2 hours and costs £180.
Please note that Smoking Cessations do not require an initial consultation, please tell us when you book in so we can make sure we book you 2 hours. Smoking cession appointments are not available in the evening.
Once we have found a suitable time and date for you to stop smoking, to confirm your appointment we will request a £30 deposit, the balance you pay to the therapist at the end of your session.
A Specific Fear or Phobia
Specific fears or phobias will normally take 3 sessions to resolve At £60 per session (daytime and £65 per session evenings)
An initial consultation is required to determine whether it is a specific fear or a fear arising from general anxiety.
A hypnobirthing course consists of seven sessions and costs a total of £315. Initial consultations are not needed, but if you are not sure you want to commit to all seven sessions, you can go along for the first session and if you’re not convinced it is for you just pay the one off session charge of £50.
For initial consultations that carry a half price charge (see above) we will send you a Paypal request prior to your appointment.
Where the Initial Consultation is, at our discretion we may ask for a Paypal deposit to be held in case you miss the appointment without letting us know. After the appointment, assuming you attend, the deposit is refunded to you within 24 hours.
For session payments, we can take cash, cheques and all major credit or debit cards, you will pay the hypnotherapist direct for your session appointment appointments.
Payment is made at the end of each session for the next session in advance.

Home Visit Consultations
In the Exeter and Plymouth areas we can provide home consultations.
The cost of home visit consultations are
£30 for the initial consultation
£75 per session (including travelling time and expenses)
Terms & Conditions
Missed appointments or appointments which are rescheduled with less than 24 hrs notice are chargeable at the full fee. This is further clarified at our initial meeting & is a minimum requirement to ensure fairness to other clients who may need that appointment.
Exceptions can be made for emergencies in the case of genuine sudden illness but we are unable to accommodate employers’ changes to working patterns with short notice or childcare issues or transport issues.
Appointments need to be kept to make the necessary progress with your recovery.
Most sessions are for one hour and any lateness cannot be accommodated by adding additional time to the end of the sessions due to the impact on other clients.
We may also ask your permission to hold credit or debit card details on file in case of missed appointments. They are confidential and not shared with any third parties. We do not use the details, unless you don’t turn up or contact us. This is discussed at the initial consultation.
For all appointments we take payment a week in advance each week.
