The first branch of Old Town Hypnotherapy was opened at Wood Street Wellbeing in Old Town, Swindon in 2011 by Emma Triplett who trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist at the prestigious The Clifton Practice, school of hypnotherapy in Bristol.
By 2012 the word had spread and hypnotherapy was in so much demand, that she invited a second hypnotherapist to join her to cope with the workload and together, for the next two and a half years they helped over 400 clients using a combination of Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Hypnosis running from two branches in Swindon.
In March 2014, Emma opened the second branch in Hove, near Brighton, followed by Exeter, Clifton in Bristol, Bovey Tracey, Totnes and most recently in Gozo near Malta where Emma now lives and manages Old Town Hypnotherapy with the support of the excellent hypnotherapists, Robin Smidowicz, Karen Tite and Eleanor Snowdon.
All the Hypnotherapists at Old Town Hypnotherapy branches have graduated with a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from The Clifton Practice and practice in exactly the same way ensuring seamless solutions across all the branches, so you can be sure that you will receive the same effective treatment.
Of important note, all Clifton Practice trained hypnotherapists have an understanding of neuroscience and of the brain and how our mind interacts with the modern world. Old Town Hypnotherapists help you to understand this dynamic and how it is affecting your condition, so you can take control and bring about the changes you desire.
Our emphasis is on providing a friendly and relaxed environment and helping clients to feel comfortable which is very important not only to us, but also to the therapeutic process. Often Hypnosis can be quite intimidating the first time someone tries it and we help you to alleviate any fears you may have, so you come away happy, energised and full of hope that you are going to resolve the issues which brought you to us in the first place.
All Old Town Hypnotherapists hold full Public and Professional Liability Insurance and are members of Association of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, National Council for Hypnotherapists, the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and are bound by their code of practice.
